Supercaotinoid with 6mg astaxanthin per capsule
Antioxidants protect us from so-called free radicals. These antioxidants include mainly beta-carotenoids. In contrast to conventional beta-carotenes, astaxanthin is not only active in the cell fluid, but also in the cell space and in the cell wall. It thus has the ability to cross the blood-retina barrier.
Our Premium Product
Astaxanthin, like all carotenoids, is a natural dye. It is produced by certain bacteria in stressful situations to protect themselves. The bacteria (e.g. in the fungi or the algae) turn into the typical red.
Our astaxanthin is native to the blood-rain algae (Haematococcus pluvialis). The blood rain algae produces astaxanthin in stres situations in order to protect itself against bad environmental influences (e.g. UV radiation).
Our product contains only natural astaxanthin and does not come from any synthesis.
Due to current EU legislation, the promotion of foods or dietary supplements for their health benefits is only possible to a limited extent. This allows us to make only health-related statements to end users that are subject to EFSA’s Health Claims Regulation (European Food Safety Authority).
