Natural iodine from brown algae extract
Due to the anabolic effect, iodine is an important growth hormone. In the case of iodine deficiency, the synthesis of thyroid hormones is reduced and the consequences are a reduction in the basic turnover (inertia, weight gain), lowering of body temperature and often crop formation (compensation of underfunction by mass gain).
Brown algae
Algae are a particularly good iodine supplier because they contain significantly more iodine than other foods – even more than sea fish or seafood. The brown algae (Ascophyllum nosodum) also called Knottang or Norwegian Kelp, is an outstanding mineral-rich food.
